Joel Troya et al. Direct comparison of multiple computer-aided polyp detection systems

Three types of computer-aided detection (CADe) systems were compared, for the first time using the same dataset, including 101 colonoscopy videos and 93 polyps in this retrospective study. They showed slight but significant differences in per-polyp and per-frame sensitivity, in time to detection of polyps, and in intersection over union (location accuracy). Of note, the freely available CADe system performed similarly to commercially available systems.
