Die Einführung der Formel kV⁵ · mAS = K hat der Aufnahmetechnik die Möglichkeit gegeben, die Expositionsveränderung, die wegen zunehmender Organdicke nötig ist, graphisch zur Darstellung zu bringen. Dadurch ist es möglich, mit einem einfachen Instrument die erforderliche Expositionsveränderung zu berechnen.

The introduction of the formula kV⁵ × mA.s = K has provided radiography with the possibility of producing graphs of the changes of exposure which are required for increased size of the particular part of the body. Thus with the aid of a simple device it has become possible to calculate the required changes.

L'introduction de la formule kV⁵mAs = K permet à la technique radiographique de représenter graphiquement la modification de l'exposition nécessaire par l'augmentation de l'épaisseur d'un organe. Il devient ainsi possible de calculer avec un simple instrument les variations nécessaires à l'exposition.
