Real-Time Testing for Helicobacter Pylori and Atrophy of the Gastric Body: Reply to the Editorial of D. Graham

In an editorial in the October issue of Endoscopy [1] accompanying our study on a novel device for testing for Helicobacter pylori and gastric atrophy, namely the Mt 21 - 42 [2], Graham suggested that it was a tool that endoscopists would only have needed several decades ago and whose clinical usefulness had probably passed. We think that the arguments he uses to support that conclusion are highly debatable and want to clarify the issue from our standpoint. In answer to his editorial, we have to consider three points:
