Sonographisches Bild der Meniskusläsionen

Zusammenfassung

Die verschiedenen Läsionsformen des Meniskus wie Längs-, Horizontal- und Querrisse, Fischmaulund komplette Korbhenkelrupturen sowie Meniskusbasisablösungen lassen sich sonographisch wohl unterschiedlich darstellen, unsere Ergebnisse an 39 sonographierten und operativ kontrollierten Patienten zeigen jedoch, daß die Läsionsformen nicht mit der erforderlichen Sicherheit differenziert werden können. Denn je nach Schnittebene resultieren sich gleichende sonographische Bilder, so daß letztendlich nur die glatte Reflexebene im sonst homogen strukturierten Meniskus für eine Läsion beweisend ist.

Abstract

The various types of meniscal lesion including longitudinal, horizontal and transverse tears, bücket handle tears (displaced or non-displaced) as well as tears of the meniscus base can be visualised in differing Sonographie views. Our results on 39 patients, whom we sonographed and then controlled operatively, show that the different meniscal lesions are not reliably differentiated by ultrasound. Depending on the view chosen, similar Sonographie displays result for all of the lesions under discussion. Only a smooth reflecting plane in the otherwise homogeneous strueture of the meniscus is proof of the existence of a meniscal lesion.
