Zusammenfassung
Der bekannte rhinochirurgische Zugang zur Frontobasis über dem Bügelschnitt wurde im Zuge der kraniofazialen Chirurgie auf das Mittelgesicht ausgedehnt (Tessier). Die rein subperiostale Präparation eignet sich besonders für die Osteosynthesetechniken. Die knöcherne Rekonstruktion des Mittel- und Obergesichtes gelingt ohne sichtbare Narbenbildung.
Summary
The well-known bitemporal incision for frontobasal surgery has been extended to midfacial preparation (Tessier). Subperiostal approach is suitable for osteosynthesis techniques using miniplates and miniscrews. Total periorbital bony reconstruction can be performed without visible scars.
