Abstract

A phytochemical investigation of Apium graveolens seeds has yielded celereoside - a new dihydrofurocoumarin glucoside and isoquercitrin. Celereoside is hitherto an unknown natural product while isoquercitrin has not been isolated earlier from A. graveolens.
