    This case report is about a patient with laryngeal trauma using a chainsaw with suicidal intention. The patient consulted us with a gaping cut cervical. We performed an emergency flexible panendoscopy and thyroid cartilage reconstruction using ear cartilage. Postoperatively, the larynx was functionally and anatomically normal with freely movable vocal folds on both sides as well as a wide glottis.
