Complex fracture of the hyoid bone and the larynx after a bicycle crash - a case report
Hoarseness is a common symptom and has many causes. A common cold, voice overload and benign and malignant tumors are often the reasons. Larynx and hyoid bone fractures as a result of a trauma represent a rare but important differential diagnosis. In this work we present a case and the therapy of a complex fracture of the larynx and the hyoid bone after a bicycle crash.
