Posterior Transpetrosal Approach to a Suprasellar Retroinfundibular Pituicytoma

This is a case of a posterior transpetrosal approach to a pituicytoma. This approach was used due to its retroinfundibular and suprasellar location. This is a rare case with an effective approach, in which we show useful information about the pathology in question. The details of the procedure performed, the anatomy involved, and the key surgical steps were discussed. The patient had a favorable clinical course and was discharged without any new neurological deficits.
