Abstract
This paper presents data from the first and second Faculty Data Collection Surveys of homœopathic prescribing. It describes the use of homœopathy in different clinical settings and by doctors with different levels of prescribing skill, the range of morbidity treated, and the homœopathic medicines and potencies used, and examines the relationships between these different parameters. Although the study cannot be considered definitive, it demonstrates the scope and value of this kind of analysis as a basis for research in homœopathic medicine, and begs a number of questions that require further investigation.
