Einsatz von Notärzten in Ländern mit Paramedic-System

Zusammenfassung

In manchen Nachbarländern mit ursprünglich Paramedic-basiertem Rettungssystem wurde in den letzten Jahrzehnten der Bedarf nach einer prähospitalen notärztlichen Kompetenz erkannt. Ausgangsbedingungen und Lösungen waren dabei durchaus unterschiedlich. Dieser Beitrag beschreibt die Entwicklung in Großbritannien, Dänemark und den Niederlanden. Der Vergleich der Systeme kann bei der Bestimmung der aktuellen und zukünftigen Stellung des Notarztes in unserem deutschen Rettungssystem helfen.

Abstract

In some of our neighbouring countries with a primary paramedic-based rescue system, the need for the competency of a pre-hospital emergency physician was identified during the recent decades. Original conditions and solutions revealed to be quite different. This article describes the development in Great Britain, Denmark and the Netherlands. A comparison of the systems may help to assess the current and future role of the emergency physician in the German rescue system.
