Summary
Epistaxis – bleeding from the nose – can be a symptom of multiple diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract. But it can also occur with systemic diseases. It is important to identify the origin and cause of epistaxis as some of the diseases can be life threatening. This article intends to describe how to work up a case presented with epistaxis.
