Ultraschall in der Medzin / European Journal of Ultrasound (UiM / EJU) Welcomes Ultrasound International Open (UIO)

Dear colleagues,

On July 29, 2015, the first online issue of the new Open Access journal Ultrasound International Open was released. A newsletter sent out the same day announced the publication of the new journal and it was enthusiastically received by the community: to date, the newsletter has been opened almost 4 000 times. The 2 most viewed articles of this first month are “Accuracy of Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound in the Diagnosis of Bile Duct Obstruction” by Fontán et al. from Spain and “Unusual Hyperechoic Appearance of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in the Liver” by Hann et al. from Germany.
