Summary
The modified (and thereby simplified) thromboplastin calibration procedure using pooled lyophilized normal and patient plasmas is shown to equal, for batch-to-batch control of Thrombotest, the calibration procedure described by Biggs and Denson, which makes use of individual freshly prepared patient plasmas.
