Differenzialdiagnostik weißer Mundschleimhautveränderungen

Einleitung

Weiße Mundschleimhautveränderungen stellen den Zahnarzt wegen ihrer Häufigkeit und des ähnlichen Aussehens unterschiedlicher Erkrankungen vor eine diagnostische Herausforderung. Da sich dahinter neben harmlosen, angeborenen Veränderungen auch präkanzeröse Läsionen verbergen können, ist eine sorgfältige Diagnosestellung unumgänglich. Nur so kann das weitere Vorgehen geplant werden und eine Patientenführung wird möglich.
