Im ersten Artikel der Autoren zum Thema „Varikosis“ (Gefäßmed Scan 2018; 05: 129–142) standen die Diagnostik und die konservative Therapie im Mittelpunkt. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden nun die unterschiedlichen invasiven Verfahren mit ihren Indikationen vorgestellt und in den Kontext zu weiteren Techniken gestellt. Dem Arzt, der sich für eine differenzierte, patientenorientierte Anwendung interessiert, soll damit eine Übersicht angeboten werden.
