Laparoscopy-assisted Surgery for Lobulated Abdominoscrotal Hydrocele: a Case Report

Introduction

Abdominoscrotal hydrocele (ASH) is an unusual condition in which a scrotal hydrocele extends through the inguinal canal into the abdominal cavity. It usually has an hourglass or a dumbbell shaped appearance [1] [2]. We report here a case of lobulated ASH with two abdominal components that were completely removed using an inguinal approach and laparoscopic-assisted surgery.
