Significance
(+)-Sieboldine A was isolated from the club moss Lycopodium sieboldii and was shown to inhibit electric eel acetylcholinesterase. The structure is interesting due to the N-hydroxy-azacyclononane ring within the bicyclo[5.2.1]-decane-N,O-acetal which was previously unknown.
