Abstract
Thermal radical alkoxyamine isomerizations controlled by the persistent radical effect are investigated. These processes can be accelerated upon addition of substoichiometric amounts of Lewis acids, Brønsted acids and various reducing reagents. The experimental findings are further supported by simulations.
