The palladium-catalyzed coupling of allylic acetates with tetraethyl methylenebisphosphonate and O,N-bis(trimethylsilyl)acetamide generates mono-alkylated γ,δ-alkenyl-1,1-bisphosphonates in moderate to high yields.
