ABSTRACT

The importance of rehabilitation in the management of multiple sclerosis is now well appreciated as is the need to demonstrate benefit through the appropriate use of scientifically sound outcome measures and integrated care pathways. Encouraging results are emerging from a number of recent studies. However, there remains a need to provide and evaluate comprehensive service provision through the identification of need and the formulation of agreed standards of care.
