Bedeutung der Wunddrainage und der stationären Behandlung bei Operationen von Speicheldrüsentumoren
Operationen an Speicheldrüsen stellen einen häufigen Eingriff in der HNO-Heilkunde dar. Am häufigsten erfolgt die Operation elektiv mit dem Ziel der Entfernung von gut- oder bösartigen Tumoren in der Unterkiefer- oder der Ohrspeicheldrüse (sog. Submandibulektomie, Parotidektomie, extrakapsuläre Dissektionen) [1]. Hierbei stellen die gutartigen Tumoren der Ohrspeicheldrüse mit Abstand die häufigste Indikation dar. Eine Parotidektomie wird deutschlandweit stationär in der Regel in Vollnarkose durchgeführt. Die stationäre Operationsrate betrug im Jahr 2011 10,91 pro 100 000 Einwohner (im Vergleich im Jahr 2007 9,39 pro 100 000 Einwohner) [1].
