Alternative Tests in Demonstrating the Presence of Palmaris Longus

SUMMARY
The presence of Palmaris longlls is classically demonstrated by a combination afforced opposition of the thumb and mild flexion of the wrist. Two new tests have been described. These are alternative to the classical test and also offer some advantages over it in certain situations.
