Radical Reactions and Retrosynthetic Planning
Publication History
Publication Date:
07 March 2002 (online)

A formal thought process and associated symbols are introduced for incorporating radical reactions into a standard retrosynthetic analysis. Examples from the recent literature that combine radical reactions either with other radical reactions or with ionic reactions illustrate how retrosynthetic planning can generate ideas for new synthetic strategies, methods, or reagents. 1.
