Novel ZnX₂-Modulated Pd/C and Pt/C Catalysts for Chemoselective Hydrogenation and Hydrogenolysis of Halogen-Substituted Nitroarenes, Alkenes, Benzyl Ethers, and Aromatic Ketones

Abstract

Novel ZnX₂-modulated Pd/C and Pt/C catalysts were developed to chemoselectively hydrogenate halogen-substituted nitroarenes, alkenes, benzyl ethers, and aromatic ketones.
