Zusammenfassung
Es wird eine Differenzierung zwischen Prävention in der Hausarztpraxis und Spezifischer Hausärztlicher Prävention vorgenommen. Erstere beinhaltet Prävention, die in der Hausarztpraxis betrieben wird, aber auch an anderen Orten durchgeführt werden kann und wird. Dem gegenüber wird Hausärztliche Prävention dargestellt als eine Prävention mittels individualisierter Gesundheitsberatung und Behandlung im Sinne der Sekundär- oder Primärprävention. Individualisierte Prävention nutzt die Schwächen/Risiken einerseits und Stärken (salutogene Potenzen) des Patienten andererseits. Eine weitere Besonderheit hierbei stellt die Quartiärprävention dar, die eine Verhinderung von Überversorgung unter Nutzung der sehr individuellen Gegebenheiten aufseiten des Patienten beinhaltet. Fernerhin wirkt die Hausarztpraxis präventiv als Teil von Community Medicine, und sie hat als Institution eine gesellschaftlich stabilisierende Funktion mit hierüber präventiver Wirksamkeit.
Abstract
Prevention in general practice should be differentiated into prevention in general practice and specific general practice prevention. The first is prevention as done or possibly done in other institutions of health care. The second means the use of the specific general practice approach with individualised care, also used in prevention. This approach is possible because doctors mostly know their patients well and have a stabile doctor-patient-relationship. This approach uses patient's strengths and weaknesses/risks as well the chance for prevention in a certain situation. “Quartary prevention” is part of it and means bewaring the patient from medicalization. Aside these fields, general practice can be part of preventive community medicine and has a function in giving social stability and, with it, is preventive.
