Abstract

The 1H- and 13C-NMR spectra of several naturally occurring phthalides are reported; among others, the new natural compound 3,3α-cis-neocnidilide isolated from Apium graveolens L. (and also found to be present in Anethum graveolens L.). For some compounds, data are compared with previously published data.
