Abstract
Gastric artery aneurysms are very rare, making up less than 4% of all splanchnic artery aneurysms. They are often ruptured at presentation and are associated with a high mortality. We present the case of a symptomatic, non-ruptured, aneurysm of the left gastric artery in a patient with Systemic Lupus Erythematosis and acute pancreatitis. Diagnosis was made on angiography and treatment consisted of endoaneurysmoraphy. The etiology, presentation, diagnosis, and options in the management of gastric artery aneurysms are also discussed in this report.
