Abstract

An attempt was made to evaluate changes of serum Na⁺, K⁺, T₃ and T₄ in healthy provers after treatment with Iodum. Iodum 12x was administered to a group of 11 healthy female students for 21 days. Serum Na⁺, K⁺, T₃ and T₄ were estimated before exhibition of the drug, and on the 11th and the last day of the trial. T₃ showed an increase by 20% and T₄ by 5%. Both Na⁺ and K⁺ were found to decrease, Na⁺ by 2%, K⁺ by 6%.
