Narzissmus ist ein vieldeutiger Begriff, der sowohl in der Persönlichkeitspsychologie, der klinischen Psychologie als auch der Psychiatrie Verwendung findet und in einen grandiosen als auch einen vulnerablen Typus unterschieden werden kann. Zur Psychotherapie der narzisstischen Persönlichkeitsstörung gibt es Konzepte aus den verschiedenen Therapieverfahren, welche eine beträchtliche Überschneidung aufweisen.
