Zusammenfassung
CT-Befunde an den Augen sind häufig Nebenbefunde bei Hals- oder Schädeluntersuchungen. Eine gezielte CT der Augen ist z. B. bei einer vermuteten Bulbusperforation oder zur Suche intraokulärer Fremdkörper indiziert. Der vorliegende Artikel behandelt Veränderungen des Bulbus oculi, die in der CT festgestellt werden können und geht auch auf den Strahlenschutz ein, der bei jeder CT in besonderer Weise zu berücksichtigen ist.
Abstract
Computed tomography findings of the eye are often diagnosed incidentally on head and neck scans. Dedicated computed tomography scans of the eye are performed for the evaluation of suspected globe rupture or intraocular foreign bodies. This article focuses on congenital, inflammatory, neoplastic, traumatic and postoperative conditions of the eye. A brief description of radiation-induced cataracts and radiation protection is given. The discussion of magnetic resonance imaging findings and orbital lesions is beyond the scope of this article.
