Mithilfe des Teflonbandes können beispielsweise auf einfache Art und Weise defekte Restaurationen im Bereich von Modellguss-Klammerauflagen ersetzt werden sowie Stumpfaufbauten unter vorhandene Kronen gebracht werden.
