Inwiefern Patienten mit chronischen lumbalen Rückenschmerzen und degenerativen Bandscheibenveränderungen langfristig von einem totalen Bandscheibenersatz (TDR; Total Disc Replacement) profitieren, ist unklar. Norwegische Forscher sind dieser Frage mithilfe einer randomisierten Multicenterstudie nachgegangen.
