Der Fuß, ein Meisterwerk der Natur. Er lässt uns durch die Welt schreiten und ermöglicht uns dadurch grenzenlose Beweglichkeit. Wir brauchen ihn in jeder Lebenslage, und dennoch schenken wir ihm oft genug zu wenig Beachtung. Der Fersensporn und der Hallux valgus sind Begriffe, die jedem Menschen etwas sagen, dennoch sind sie so komplex, dass erst durch eine genaue Diagnostik eine erfolgreiche Behandlung erfolgen kann.

The human foot is one of the most sensual parts of the human body. It must handle the weight of the human body every day. But still we do not care about it too much. If we did, we could have less trouble with it. The human foot consists of 26 bones each. That is in total 25 % of the whole human body. Most trouble we have do to our daily usage is the so-called heel spur. It can cause much pain. Symptoms of the heel spur are pain underneath the heel or at the lower end of the Achilles tendon. It can be diagnosed by making an X-ray or by MRI. Another problem we could have with the human foot is the hallux valgus. It is a problem with the front part of the foot. One of the reasons is the usage of shoes, which are too tight for the front foot. It can be diagnosed by an X-ray, by which the angle of the first to the middle foot bone can be measured. Depending on the measured angle an surgery is indicated.
