Präoperative Patientenedukation: Elementar trotz unklarer Evidenz

Menschen mit Arthrose haben nach einer präoperativen Patientenedukation weniger Angst vor einer TEP-Implantation. Ob sie nach der OP auch gesundheitskompetenter und aktiver sind, ist wegen diverser Schwachstellen der aktuellen Studienlage nicht evident. Um die edukative Validität der Intervention zu überprüfen, wird derzeit ein Questionnaire für Knie-TEP-Patienten entwickelt.
