Zusammenfassung
Die Erstversorgung von Neugeborenen nach Geburt ist für alle Beteiligten im Rettungsdienst aufgrund der Seltenheit und fehlender Routine eine besondere Herausforderung. Die Anpassung des Neugeborenen an die „neue Umgebung“ verläuft zwar meist ohne Probleme. Kommt es jedoch zu Störungen dieser Anpassung, sind rasches Handeln und spezielles Wissen gefragt. Handlungsgrundlage ist dabei die aktuelle Leitlinie des European Resuscitation Council [1]. Der Beitrag liefert eine Zusammenfassung der wichtigsten Punkte – angepasst an die präklinische Situation im Rettungsdienst.
Abstract
The primary care of neonates after birth is, due to the rarity and lack of routine, a particular challenge for all participants of the Emergency Medical Service. The adaption of the newborn to the new environment usually proceeds without any complications. If, however, disruptions occur, prompt action and specific knowledge are required. Recommendations of action are delivered by the current guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council. The article provides a summary of the main criteria – adapted to the preclinical setting of the Emergency Medical Service.
