Weichteilsarkome – eine Übersicht aktueller evidenzbasierter Behandlungskonzepte

Zusammenfassung
Weichteilsarkome sind eine heterogene Gruppe von seltenen Neoplasien, die aufgrund ihrer anatomischen Lage und ihres oft inapparenten klinischen Erscheinungsbildes eine häufig zu spät diagnostizierte Tumorentität darstellen. Gerade weichteilige Schwellungen werden initial oft fehlinterpretiert und im Gegensatz zu den gängigen Behandlungsleitlinien bagatellisiert oder inkorrekt biopsiert. Die daraus resultierenden Komplikationen sind für den Patienten gravierend und können durch Befolgen gewisser Behandlungsgrundsätze minimiert werden. Die Behandlung der Weichteilsarkome kann nur im interdisziplinären Kontext unter Einbeziehung von chirurgischen Fächern, Onkologie, Pathologie und Strahlentherapie gelingen und sollte beginnend mit der Biopsie an Tumorzentren durchgeführt werden. Dieser Übersichtsartikel versucht, anhand einer selektiven Literaturrecherche eine Übersicht über die aktuelle Evidenzlage zur Behandlung dieser Tumorentität aufzuzeigen und einen Behandlungsalgorithmus darzustellen.
