Eine Prophylaxe mit nur 5 mg Tamoxifen statt der empfohlenen Tagesdosis von 20 mg ist offenbar auch wirksam zur Rezidivprophylaxe eines Mamma-karzinoms im frühen Krankheitsstadium. Darauf deuten die Ergebnisse einer Phase-III-Studie nach einem medianen Follow-up von 5,1 Jahren hin, berichtete Prof. Andrea De Censi, Genua/Italien, auf dem SABCS 2018.
