Patienten mit fortgeschrittenen kolorektalen Karzinomen und RAS-Wildtyp erhalten nach der Induktionschemotherapie eine Erhaltungstherapie aus EGFR- Inhibition und 5-Fluorouracil/Leucovorin. In der Valentino-Studie wurde überprüft, ob sich der Verzicht auf das Zytostatikum auf das progressionsfreie Überleben (PFS) und das Gesamtüberleben (OS) auswirkt.
