Summary
Therapeutic injections of the spine are accepted options in the treatment of specific pain of the cervical-, thoracic- and lumbar spine. These procedures are performed by free-hand anatomical landmark orientation, under fluoroscopic and CT-scan assistance or MRI control. It is the aim of this overview article to give an orienting survey of the ultrasound-guided techniques.
