Manuel Zorzi et al. Colonoscopy later than 270 days in a fecal immunochemical test-based population screening program is associated with higher prevalence of colorectal cancer

Colonoscopy performed more than 9 months after fecal immunochemical testing was associated with an increased risk of colorectal cancer and cancer progression, but no increase in low or high risk adenomas, in a large cohort study.
