Veränderungen in der K+-Regulation können zu neuromuskulären, gastrointestinalen und kardialen Anomalien führen. Sowohl Hypo- als auch Hyperkaliämie sind dafür bekannt, dass sie potenziell tödliche Rhythmusstörungen, kardiale Funktionsstörungen sowie andere Komplikationen auslösen können [1].
