UKCCMP-Projekt: COVID-19-Mortalitätsrisiko bei Tumorpatienten
Ein erhöhtes Mortalitätsrisiko durch COVID-19 wird bei Patienten mit einer Krebserkrankung speziell unter systemischer krebsspezifischer Therapie angenommen. Diese Vermutung hat erhebliche Auswirkungen auf die Behandlung dieser Patienten, wenngleich große, multizentrische Studien dazu bislang nahezu fehlen. Lee et al. beschreiben nun die klinischen und demografischen Charakteristiken von an Krebs erkrankten COVID-19-Patienten in Großbritannien.
