Im klinischen Alltag fragen viele Patienten nach der Möglichkeit, indirekte Restaurationen aus einem zahnfarbenen Material und mit möglichst wenig Zeitaufwand herzustellen. Häufig kann in diesen Fällen die Single-Visit-Restauration in Erwägung gezogen werden. Für die Anfertigung einer Single-Visit-Restauration ist eine Vielfalt von Materialien verfügbar, die lediglich poliert werden müssen. Auch bei Hybridkeramiken ist kein Sintervorgang vorgesehen, wodurch sie zur Anfertigung einer Single-Visit-Restauration geeignet sind. Eine Übersicht über die Anwendung von Hybridkeramiken wird nachfolgend dargestellt.
