Kutanes Plattenepithelkarzinom

Das kutane Plattenepithelkarzinom (cSCC) ist der zweithäufigste maligne Hauttumor und entwickelt sich als Resultat einer kumulativen UV-Exposition. Die Standardbehandlung des cSCC ist die Operation. Mit den Immuntherapien werden gute Remissionen erzielt, die häufig ein besseres ästhetisches Ergebnis erzielen als die Operation. Prof. Michael Midgen, Houston, diskutierte auf dem EADO 2021 den Stellenwert der Immuntherapie beim metastasierten (mCSCC) oder lokal fortgeschrittenen (laCSCC) kutanen Plattenepithelkarzinom.
