Asthma bronchiale bei Kindern

Asthma bronchiale ist die häufigste chronische Erkrankung im Kindesalter in den westlichen Industrienationen mit weiter zunehmender Prävalenz. In den letzten Jahren wurden verschiedene neue Präparate vorwiegend für schweres Asthma entwickelt. Außerdem gab es einige neue Therapieempfehlungen, die u. a. ein neues Konzept der Basistherapie vorsehen. Auch präventive Maßnahmen wie die allergenspezifische Immuntherapie werden in der jüngsten Überarbeitung der Nationalen Versorgungsleitlinie stärker in den Vordergrund gerückt.
