Background

Sterile corneal infiltrates have been described a few days to 1 week after Dresden protocol-based corneal cross-linking [1], [2], as well as after accelerated cross-linking for progressive keratoconus [3]. Hereby, we report on a 30-year-old male patient who underwent epithelium-off accelerated cross-linking and developed a circular, 360-degree, peripheral sterile corneal ring infiltrate on the first postoperative day.
