Drug-Induced Polyneuropathies Associated with Chemotherapeutic Agents and Anti-infectives
Polyneuropathien können durch zahlreiche Wirkstoffe hervorgerufen oder aggraviert werden. Insbesondere die Chemotherapeutika-induzierte Polyneuropathie (CIPN) ist im Alltag von hoher Relevanz. Jedoch kann auch der Einsatz von Antiinfektiva zu neuropathischen Beschwerden führen. Im Folgenden soll ein Überblick über die wichtigsten mit Polyneuropathien assoziierten Wirkstoffe der Substanzklassen sowie die klinischen Charakteristika gegeben werden.
Abstract
Polyneuropathies are associated with numerous medications. Chemotherapy-induced polyneuropathy (CIPN) is highly relevant in clinical routine. However, treatment with anti-infectives can also lead to neuropathic symptoms. Here, we provide an overview of the most relevant drugs of these substance classes associated with polyneuropathies as well as the clinical characteristics.
