Psychotherapie bei funktionellen neurologischen Bewegungsstörungen

ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Unser Verständnis der klinischen, pathophysiologischen und therapeutischen Aspekte funktioneller neurologischer Bewegungsstörungen hat sich in den letzten beiden Jahrzehnten erheblich weiterentwickelt. In Umfragen mit Behandlern und Patienten wird jedoch deutlich, dass weiterhin erhebliche Versorgungslücken existieren.

Wir stellen in diesem Übersichtsartikel typische Behandlungsprobleme aus Sicht von Behandlern und Patienten dar. Die Schwierigkeiten der psychotherapeutischen Therapieeinleitung bei körperlichen Symptomen werden erläutert. Darauf aufbauend stellen wir spezielle Anforderungen für einen Gesamtbehandlungsplan dar. Schließlich diskutieren wir individualisierte Anpassungen sowie Integrationsstrategien von störungsspezifischen Behandlungsansätzen.

ABSTRACT

Our understanding of the clinical, pathophysiological, and therapeutic aspects of functional neurological movement disorders has developed considerably over the last two decades. However, in surveys with practitioners and patients, significant gaps in care still exist.

In this overview article, we present typical treatment problems from the perspective of practitioners and patients. The difficulties of psychotherapeutic therapy initiation with physical symptoms are explained. Based on this, we present specific requirements for an overall treatment plan. Finally, we discuss individualized adaptations and integration strategies of disorder-specific treatment approaches.
