In der Rheumahandchirurgie werden bei der Behandlung von Arthritiden der Hand verschiedene operative Methoden verwendet, um Patient*innen Schmerzfreiheit, Beweglichkeit und Funktionserhalt zu ermöglichen. Einen erheblichen Fortschritt stellen dabei die Teilarthrodesen des Handgelenks sowie Endoprothesen zum Ersatz der Fingergrund- und Mittelgelenke dar.
